Choose the Screw Around the Base Material
Concrete strength, brick condition and block density vary. The same screw can behave differently in each substrate. State the base material and application when asking for a quote, and check the fixing in the actual job material before a production or project release.
Hole diameter, drilling depth, dust removal, embedment, edge distance and installation torque must follow the buyer's project requirements. Where structural performance is controlled, use the specified engineering approval and site test rather than a general product description.
Information for a Useful RFQ
Send the screw diameter and length, material, head and drive, finish, order quantity and packing format. Add the required standard or drawing when dimensions are controlled. For project work, also state the substrate, fixture thickness and any corrosion requirement.
If you are replacing an existing part, provide the current part number, drawing or clear sample photos. That helps separate a true equivalent from a screw that only looks similar.
Finish, Labels and Repeat Orders
Blue white zinc, zinc flake and buyer-specified finishes can be discussed. The quotation should record the agreed finish, appearance requirement, label, carton mark and pack count. Repeat orders are easier to manage when one approved specification and revision are used.
