Hanger Bolt
This hanger bolt is a hybrid dual-thread furniture fastener specially used for assembling solid wood and metal furniture accessories.
It is cold forged integrally from Grade 4.8 carbon steel and treated with blue white zinc electroplating, forming a compact anti-corrosion protective layer to avoid oxidation under indoor dry environments. It adopts a unique two-section thread structure: one side is deep coarse self-tapping wood thread with sharp conical tip, which can cut into solid wood directly without pre-drilling holes; the other side is standard machine thread that perfectly matches metal nuts and metal furniture legs.
A flat hexagonal driving shank is designed in the middle of the bolt shank, which can be fixed and rotated with open-end wrench, effectively solving the slipping problem of smooth double-head studs during installation. The tail of machine thread is equipped with Torx inner drive recess, providing an alternative installation method for narrow operation space.
Different from pure double wood thread dowel screws, hanger bolt combines wood thread and machine thread, realizing invisible internal connection between wood board and metal parts, with no exposed bolt head to keep furniture surface neat and beautiful.
